Care Instructions

Calfskin and cowhide

If this leather comes into contact with water, immediately blot it dry with a light-colored, non-abrasive absorbent cloth. The use of any solvents or chemicals for cleaning is not recommended. Avoid using any home remedies that darken the leather, such as mink oil, saddle soap, leather lotion, or any similar substances at all costs. These chemicals can damage the quality and integrity of the leather as it wears over time.

Calfskin and cowhide are selected through a rigorous selection process for their delicate, soft, and silky feel. To meet VÉ's aesthetic and quality standards, we only choose leathers that exhibit exceptional performance and characteristics. They may have natural imperfections, such as veins or wrinkles.

These carefully selected leathers can be damaged by the use of any commercial cleaners. Elements like oils, cosmetics, perfumes, creams, or sanitizers applied to the leather can harm its natural beauty and performance. For surface stains, we recommend cleaning with a soft, damp cloth moistened with water.

Silver
Some parts of VE's products are made of 925 sterling silver. Here are some tips for caring for sterling silver items. Do not use household cleaners and detergents on sterling silver, as they may slowly corrode your jewelry. Silver may lose its shine when exposed to chlorine, sulfur, moisture, sweat, acidic skin pH, cosmetics, and other strong chemicals. We recommend simply rinsing the jewelry with warm water and then gently wiping it several times with a silver polishing cloth.
